Samsung N510 will run on Nvidia Ion LE platform

Last week, there were rumors that the Samsung N510 netbook will run on Nvidia’s Ion LE platform. This has been confirmed now, through a manual that has appeared on Samsung’s official website. The manual does not detail much specifications but it states that the Samsung N510 uses Nvidia ION LE platform which is only DirectX 9 compatible. The manual also states that the N510 uses the Nvidia MCP79-D9 chipset.
Netbookchoice has put up some pictures of the Samsung N510 which suggests that it has a keyboard just like that on the Samsung N120 (with a full-sized right-shift key and Windows key on the right). The microphone is placed just above the keyboard. The status lights indicate caps lock, HDD, Wi-Fi, charging status, and power. On the left side of the netbook there is an Ethernet port, VGA output port, HDMI, and chargeable USB port. On the right side of the N510 there is a power button, Kensington lock, power input, two USB ports, and an audio in/out port. There is a memory card slot on the front of the laptop just under the status LEDs and there are two speakers located at the bottom of the laptop.
