Chuwi W3000 MID works on WinCE 5.0
This MID boots up pretty fast and offers some good features
Chuwi, the Chinese manufacturer who is known for its portable media players (PMP) especially the T8 PMP has launched the W3000 mobile internet device or MID. We have seen quite a few mobile internet devices these days like the SmartQ7, LonMID, etc. So what makes the W3000 different is that it runs on Windows CE 5.0 operating system which coupled with the Telechips 7901 dual-core chipset enables the system to boot up pretty fast, in just about 8 secs.
The W3000 has a 4.1-inch WVGA screen and has some pretty good features like:
· WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n
· GPS Receiver
· 1.3MP camera
· Support for MP3, WMA, OGG, AVI and RMVB files
· Instant Messenger
The cost has not yet been disclosed by the company.
