The manufacturer Apple created the wireless hard disk Time Capsule.
Yesterday, Apple introduced its new notebook MacBook Air. It is equipped with the newest wireless LAN standards and is ultra-portable as well. The external hard disk Time Capsule was developed for this laptop. Surely it can be connected to every computer by using wireless LAN. The basic use of this hard disk is making the usage of the backup tool Time Machine easier for laptop owners, because it provides wireless LAN. If a laptop user wants to use Time Machine, then he has to connect an external hard disk to the notebook. Now that changed, because the Time Capsule can be connected using WLAN. The disk will be availible in February. There are two versions of the Time Capsule; one offers 500 GB of hard disk space and the other one offers 1 TB of hard disk space. You have to spend € 299,- or € 499,- to get one.
