MSI unveils Wind U210 netbook

It will be powered by an AMD Neo processor
It seems as if MSI is busy upgrading its models. First, it was the X-Slim X610 which is similar to the X-Slim X600 except the fact that it has an AMD Neo processor. Then, we saw the X-Slim X340 which got a bigger battery and a lower price tag. Now, MSI has added an AMD Neo processor to the Wind U200 and has named the new machine - Wind U210.
MSI has already launched the MSI Wind U200 netbook which has a 12-inch (1366 x 768) display powered by a Celeron ULV SFF 723 CPU and Intel GS45 chipset with GMA 4500M graphics. It comes with:
· 1GB RAM (2GB max)
· 250GB HDD
· Wi-Fi (including Draft n)
· Bluetooth
· 4-in-1 card reader
· 1.3MP webcam
· Three USB ports
· HDMI port
Now, MSI is planning to launch the Wind U210 which will have the same feature set as the Wind U200 netbook but, the internals will undergo a slight change. The MSI Wind U210 will be powered by a 1.6GHz AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core MV40 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and a 250GB SATA HDD. Graphics will be provided by the onboard ATI Mobility Radeon X1250, HyperMemory (integrated) GPU. Connectivity will be provided by Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth. The Wind U210 will be available in the following two configurations:

Users can choose from two color options – black or grey. The Windows XP model will cost €399 while the Windows Vista model will cost €449 in mainland Europe. There is no word of a UK price or shipping date right now.
