Seagate brings USB 3.0 HDD

Seagate wants to present an external hard drive which offers an USB 3.0 connector at the CES 2009.
The new and super fast Superspeed USB standard will be presented at the CES 2009. For the first time it will get introduced in combination with an USB 3.0 device. The device is an external hard drive, which was developed by Seagate and Symwave.
The USB 3.0 standard shall enable faster reading and writing speeds than its predecessor did. The Superspeed USB specifications claim the connector to be ten times faster than USB 2.0 and a transfer rate of 5 Gbit per second will also be possible.
