Logitech expands its product range by omnidirectional USB speakers of the series Z-5.
Logitech brings new USB speakers on the market. Those new speakers are part of the Z-5 series and provide omnidirectional architecture and this design enables wider stereo sound.
The speakers are connected to the computer by using an USB port and they get their power from this connector as well. Therefore, they don’t need an external power pack.
The Z-5 speakers are compatible to Mac and Windows and according to Logitech they were made especially for notebooks. A wireless remote control is also included.
The speakers will be available in the USA at the end of September and they will cost $ 100 (~ € 69). Logitech did not specify a release day for Europe and no word about price as well.
