AT&T might just end up selling this Nvidia Tegra based machine

FCC filings suggest Mobinova Beam might just get a dose of AT&T

Mobinnova Elan, now rebranded as the Mobinnova Beam, will be coming out from its hiding during CES 2010, which is will be held in the month of January (Jan 7 – Jan 10).

The Tegra-based machine is a 10 inch mini-laptop. It also houses NVIDIA graphics which will enable 720p HD video playback with accelerated Flash content and some 3D games. Added features would be a 3G connection like the élan, along with a Wi-Fi radio. A webcam should also make a mark there.

It was recently found carrying an FCC ID - the BEAMATT which makes us believe that there is quite a possibility that AT&T will be the distributor for this portable computer.

Powering the device is a powerful battery pack which is expected to offer a great battery life of about 5-10 hours while playing 720p videos that seems good enough but, there is one major drawback - It uses Windows CE as the OS which might not attract a lot of people as many of us just love Windows powered devices.

There is no word on the pricing yet but if AT&T launches this new netbook then I am quite sure that this netbook will cost you less than $300 off course that is when you sign a contract with AT&T.
