3G-enabled netbook on the way
Another netbook, almost identical to others arrives on the market. LG nicknamed it ''Momo'' which stands for MOre MObile. The specs are all standard:
- Integrated 802.11b/g WLAN
- Intel Atom Processor N270, 1.6GHz, 533MHz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache
- 80GB/120GB/160GB disk with 512KB-1GB DDR2 RAM
- Optional Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR
- 1.3 megapixel webcam
- 4-in-1 multimedia card reader
- 3 x USB, VGA, RJ45, Mic-in, HP-out
- 261.8 x 180 x 19~31 mm
- Weight just over 2.6 lbs with the standard 3-cell battery
- Windows Vista Home Basic
What sets it apart is a built-in HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access) modem and a slightly reconfigured keyboard. It has bigger arrow keys and a full-size right shift key. Furthermore, it is one of the first netbooks with Windows Vista.
There are no information as to when we might expect to see this netbook but considering its appearance on LG’s site, we should hear something relatively soon. Price range from €399 to €499.
