Yet another Lenovo leaks: this time it is the Thinkpad T410s
Category: new notebook modelsBy: Raghav Kapoor
Slated for release in early January 2010
After the first Lenovo’s leak about its SL series getting some Windows 7 handling, the leak on Lenovo’s new T series model featuring 2 Thinklights instead of 1 is the second in the row for Lenovo in less than just a month’s time. The company is rumored to have actually started to work on its new T series model- T410s which is speculated to be released in January 2010. These leaked documents and spy shots are not very descriptive about the new Lenovo T410s, except for the fact that it includes a couple of more USB ports here and there, also the overall design seems to have cleaned up a bit giving it a more improved look and most importantly there is an additional display-mounted ThinkLight keyboard light. Moreover this 14-inch notebook is also assumed to have a larger trackpad, an additional HDMI port, and more cooling holes as compared to the older models like T400 or T400s. Just to refresh your memory the Lenovo T400s had the following specifications:-
- Choices of Intel 2.4GHz and 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo processors
- Choices of solid-state drive storage up to 128GB, or 250GB hard drive storage
- 9.5mm slim DVD burner or Blu-ray player
- Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and optional WiMAX3, WWAN, Bluetooth and ultrawideband connectivity
- 34mm Express Card slot or 5-in-1 multimedia card reader
- Support for Lenovo's Constant Connect and Protect technology that allows users to maximize integration of their BlackBerry smartphone and ThinkPad laptop
- Six hours of battery life
- VGA connector
- Built-in USB/eSATA port
We surely hope that the upcoming model has something more to offer to the users. As no further word has been said regarding the specifications, pricing, and the official release date, we’ll have to wait a little longer to know what is actually in store for us.
