Samsung launches N130 and N140 netbooks

These models will be available in Russia
Samsung has just launched two new 10.1-inch netbooks for the Russian market – Samsung N130 and Samsung N140. On the outside, these new models look a lot like the Samsung Go and Samsung N110. The common features on both the models include:
· 10.1-inch 1024x600 pixel display
· Intel Atom N270 or N280 processors
· Intel 945GSE + ICH7M chipset
· 1GB RAM
· 160GB hard disk drive
· 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
· Three USB ports
· 0.3MP webcam
· VGA out port
· Card reader (SD/SDHC/MMC)
· Dimensions: 10.2 x 7.3 x 1.2-inches
· Weight: 2.8 pounds
The differentiating factor of the two netbooks is that while the N130 ships with a 1.5W mono speaker the N140 comes with 3W stereo speakers. The N130 comes with a Comes with a 3-cell (2300 mAh) or 6-cell (4000mAh) battery whereas, the N140 comes with a standard 6-cell (5200 or 5900mAh) battery. These models will be available in white, black or dark blue colours.
The Samsung N130 and N140 come pre-installed with set of widgets, games, and proprietary software like:
· Samsung Easy Resolution Manager – allows user to activate screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels.
· Samsung Battery Life Extender utility – supports the battery at 80% when the netbook is connected to mains so as to extend battery life.
· Samsung Recovery solution – prevents loss of important data
· Microsoft Sky Drive service – 25GB of online disk space
· Microsoft Office Home and Student
Both these models will be available in Russia. The prices however have not been disclosed.
