MSI confirms CR610 notebook

A new member of the Classic series
Reportedly, MSI announced a new notebook based on the Tigris platform, which adds to its Classic series. The CR610 comes with AMD’s Athlon II CPU and RS880 chipset by ATI.
Allegedly, this new product will have a 16-inch, 1366-by-768 pixel display, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 graphics controller and AMD’s dual-core Athlon II. The CR610 can house up to 4GB of memory and will come with up to 500GB of storage.
Other features of MSI’s new device include 1.3M webcam, DVD Super-Multi optical drive, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and HDMI output.
Supposedly, the new model comes with Microsoft’s new Windows 7 and weighs 2.48kg with the 6-cell battery. Nevertheless, no specific price or availability information is reported.
