Custom Made Linux Distribution for Acer Aspire One
Kuki Linux 2.0 Alpha is a new Linux distribution custom made for Acer Aspire One Netbooks. It is based on the Ubuntu distribution with a few differences.
It is based on the XFCE window manager containing programs such as Firefox 3.0, Mplayer, Audacious, Pidgin, Abiword, and Gnumeric. The operating system has a fairly small footprint, with the disk image only being about 400 MB. Developers have claimed that the next release, 3.0 takes roughly 1.1 GB of disk space and allows the OS to boot up in 11 seconds.
