The manufacturer Toshiba expands its product range by a new external hard disk.
Toshiba introduces a new external hard drive at the IFA, which offers special designs. The device consists of a 2.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of 160 GB, 250 GB or 320 GB.
Toshiba offers the hard disk case in the three different colours Hot Rod Red, Carbon Grey and Gecko Green. The external hard drive gets connected to the computer by using a USB 2.0 port and it gets its power from the connector as well. An external power pack is not necessary.
The hard drive works with Windows Vista and XP and with Mac OSX as well. Toshiba offers its drive for $ 109.99 (~ € 75) in the USA, but no word about prices in Europe so far.
