First Mobility Radeon HD 4850 Benchmarks

First screenshots of 3DMark06 scores of the upcoming ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4850 have been uploaded to Flickr.

The benchmarks were conduced (according to the screenshots) with the new Centrino 2 plattform. A Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4 GHz) reached in combination with the HD 4850 about 9300 points. With a Core 2 Extreme X9100 (3.06 GHz) the card reached a bit over 10.000 points. This would make the card about as fast, as the fastest mobile Nvidia GPU, the 9800M GTX.

Detailled technical informations of the Mobility Radeon HD 4850 are not known up to now, but the card should feature the 800 unified shaders of the desktop model.
