Overclocked Celeron M exceeds Athlon FX-60

The mobile Celeron M with 3087 MHz, over-clocked by "Coolaler", was faster than a 3.0 GHz over-clocked AMD Athlon 64 FX-60.

Since a short time the used Intel Celeron M 420 is already available in Japan and Hong Kong around 125 dollar, although yet it has not been presented by Intel. The entrance processor is normally clocked with 1.6 GHz and offers 1 MB L2 Cache. It is manufactured with 65 Nm and has a FSB clocked with 533MHz.

The Celeron won against the AMD in the SuperPI test, which it completed in only 21,188 seconds.
