Great looks and excellent performance
Acer Ferrari One laptop is all set to hit the U.S markets in January next year, but it is unlikely to be available with external graphics card designed by AMD to make it as powerful as a desktop PC. This sporty laptop is considered as the one suited for gaming purpose. This laptop has been already launched in the UK and has got quite a good response there. According to an AMD spokesperson the features and upgrades available with this laptop will allow gamers to play latest games at home.
This laptop is equipped with a PCI Express card slot which allows user to connect an external graphics port to increase graphics performance. The Acer Ferrari One laptop has the following features:
- 1.2GHz AMD Athlon X2 L310 dual core processor
- AMD M780G chipset
- ATI Radeon 3200 integrated graphics chip
- 11.6-inch LCD CrystalBrite LED backlit display with 16:9 aspect ratio
- 2GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM upgradable to 4GB
- 320GB of HDD

- Couple of USB ports
- Acer’s InviLink 802.11bgn Wifi with Acer’s SignalUp technology, Bluetooth and 3G

One of the most important features of this laptop is ATI’s XGP technology with the help of which you can connect to an external graphics device. The XGP interface helps in connecting a dock with ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4670 GPU which provides a high 2048×1536 pixel resolution on an external display. Also this ATI’s XGP can run up to four displays when used on a notebook PC and comes with lots of connectivity options like HDMI, DVI and USB connections.
The estimated price of Acer Ferrari One Laptop is around US$ 858, which is quiet competitive but this is for sure that this laptop with Ferrari styled features and true HD resolution will give you an excellent feel just like the big names related with this laptop.
