The new Joybook A53 by BenQ does not provide Intels newest processors, only their predecessors.
BenQ Joybook A53
The Joybook A53 was presented by BenQ. Unlike to most of its competitors it is not equipped with an Intel Penryn CPU. It provides an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 CPU, and only 512 MB of working memory. That’s not very much in these days. Otherwise, it is equipped with a500 GH hard disk, and a DL DVD-RW drive is installed too. Its 15.4” display offers WXGA resolution. Furthermore, it provides USB ports, a 4-in-1 card reader, and a 0.3 mega pixel webcam. The included 6-cell battery reaches a battery runtime of 2.3 hours. It’s not known when the Joybook A53 will be available, and no word about the price too.
