The much-awaited Touch-enabled T91 will come in three variants – T91, T91A and T91Go
Asus will reportedly release three versions of the Asus Eee PC T91 – the basic T91, the T91A with a multi-touch screen, and the T91Go with 3G, GPS and a digital TV features. The T91A model will be the only one to hold a multi-touch screen. Also there might be a fourth model (T91Ago), which will include both a multi-touch screen and 3G, GPS and a TV tuner – as reported by Asustablet.
Although the Asus Eee PC T91 was showed off long ago at the CES in January – it was released in the US only very recently. Asus slapped in some multimedia software on top of Windows to make it easier to navigate using the touchscreen. For the records, the T91 measures 88.6” x 64.6”, and weighs less than a kilo - making it one of the smallest and thinnest netbook around. It sports an 8.9" LED-backlit / Resistive Touch Panel that can be turned on a single hinge. The T91 sports a slow Atom Z520 CPU and 1GB RAM. Asus says it has 16GB Solid State Drive + 16GB SD Card + 30GB Portable Hard Disk Drive + 20GB Eee Storage.
The strange thing is that T91A will weigh about 0.06 kg more than the standard T91. This is probably because of the chips installed.
