It will cost about $399
It is almost two months since the iiView A2 was announced. This Macbook Air look-alike is now announced in the US and told to be going in the market on 22nd October.
Although not like the Macbook Air in performance, it still has the Ooomph factor. Sporting a gorgeous 12.1” display panel. The A2 has a 12.1” (1,280 x 800) display panel powered by a 1.6GHz N270 Atom CPU and Intel 945 chipset. You’ll get a 2GB RAM and a 320GB HDD as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g and 2 USB ports, and also HDMI output. The 78-key keyboard looks comfortable to type, with the Elantech Solid-state Trackpad below it. The release date coincides with that of Windows 7 to include the same – so you get the Windows 7 Home Premium pre-loaded. The battery is designed to run for a meager up to 3 hours.
The one thing that’ll set the A2 apart from the rest is the slim, streamlined style – and an effortless HD playback. The pre-installed Windows 7 helped. The matte non-reflective screen and the matte finish on the inside will make sure it doesnot attract greases and dirt.
It is retailing at $399 and comes with 2 year warranty.
