It comes in two configurations based on AMD or Intel technology
Gateway, a company that recently launched the LT3100 netbook, is in news again, this time it has launched two new notebook models under the NV series. The Gateway NV Series has a 15.6-inch High Definition LED-backlit TFT Widescreen display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and resolution of 1366×768 pixels. To complement that there is the Dolby Sound system with two built-in stereo speakers.
The interesting feature in the NV series is that it has one touch keys for backup and power saving. The MyBackup Button gives customers a simple, convenient one-touch way to backup files to another location such as a USB drive, external hard disk drive, or another hard drive partition. The one touch power save button located above the keyboard helps in prolonging battery life in order to increase uptime.
On the exterior this notebook series is pretty stylish. The case is covered with a subtle Honeycomb pattern available in four different colors: NightSky Black, Midnight Blue, Cherry Red and Coffee Brown. Moreover, the refined silver trim, rounded edges and classic barrel hinge combine to give the NV Series a sleek, modern appeal.
The Gateway NV series is available in two models with the following specifications:
