Asus M51 with GeForce 9500M GS

The notebooks of the product line M51 by Asus are equipped with a Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS and are already available.

Asus expands its notebook product line by adding the new series M51. The top-of-the line models are equipped with a Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS graphic card with 512 MB of video memory. The screen resolution of those 15.4” notebooks is 1440 x 900 pixels, and an Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 CPU with 2.4 GHz is installed too. 2 GB of working memory and a 250 GB hard disk are installed as well. The working memory gets supported by 1 GB TurboMemory, which is an ultra-fast flash memory for discharging working memory. Furthermore, Intels new wireless 802.11n techonology, Bluetooth 2.0, and a DL DVD-RW drive are built in. Additionally, there are security features, like a finger print reader and a TPM chip, installed. An express card slot exists as well for upgrading. Certainly, there are several ports, like USB 2.0 ports, a gigabit LAN port, a modem, a DVI-port, a VGA-port, Fire wire, TV-out and  audio-in and out. The M51 provides nice extras, like a 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 1-in-8 card reader. The notebook is equipped with Windows Vista Home Premium, is already available and costs € 1.309,-.
