According to recent leaks it seems as if the Lenovo ThinkPad T400s might just be an upgrade to the earlier ThinkPad T400 which is a 14-inch laptop powered by Intel Centrino2 processor and an ATI Mobility V5700 GPU. It has Bluetooth, WiFi, and a 320GB hard drive. The new ThinkPad T400s has the same 14.1-inch WXGA LED backlit screen with a resolution of 1440x900, but, that is where the similarity ends. The new T400s is quite slim and is only 0.83-inches thick, bringing down the size considerably from the 1.12-inch thick original T400 model. Moreover, the new model will be powered by a 2.4GHz/2.53GHz Intel Core2 Duo processor and would have an integrated 4500MHD graphics processor. It would have 2GB of RAM and a 120GB hard disk drive. Other features would include the following:

·         Connectivity: Bluetooth, Ethernet, 3G, and WiFi

·         eSATA port

·         5-in-1 card reader

·         Fingerprint scanner

·         A display port

·         Option for a SSD drive

The exact pricing and availability is not known but, it is expected that it will be a bit expensive than the earlier T400, which starts at $750.
