The Asus Eee PC has got a security hole in the preinstalled Linux, which enables easy accessing this 7” notebook.
The experts at Rise-Security found a security hole of the Asus Eee PC, while testing the Samba daemon. They discovered that a root access from the outside to the Eee PC is easily possible by using a network connection.
