New MC series from Geteway
At the press conference in Budapest, Gateway announced its new MC series. It has a 16-inch, edge-to-edge glass display with a 16:9 aspect ratio witch supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080. Other specifications are still unclear, but at the press conference two versions have been on display - AMD and a Centrino 2 version. The model on display had a backlit keyboard, chromed edges, a leather strip along the glossy outer shell and a touch-sensitive media pad. Both integrated and dedicated video versions will be available.
It should be released in November. The pricing is unknown.
