Mimo is a company that manufactures and markets monitors that can be easily connected to a computer through an innovative USB connection. Mimo has just launched a new 7-inch 800x400 resolution resistive touchscreen display, called the Mimo 720-S that can be easily connected to any netbook through a single USB connection. The brightness of this monitor is 350cd/m^2 and it has a contrast ratio of 400:1. The Mimo 720-S is highly portable and has a rotating screen that rotates and pivots to any desired angle.

This external display can be used with Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Macs. For using this screen with Mac OS X users will be required to download a driver from Mimo’s official website. Moreover, the screen supports only Intel based Macs. The screen comes with an innovative stand that also serves as a cover. Users can simply close the screen and can then carry it without the fear of breaking it. The Mimo 720-S is available at a price of $230.
