10” Hannspree HannsNote goes on sale in the US

The HannsNote goes on sale quietly with various e-tailers like Amazon and Buy.com
"Our new HANNSnote range is a winning combination of 'wow factor' design that will stand out from the crowd and practical portable computing" – were the words of Martin Kent, manager Hannspree, UK. He would not like the way the Hannspree went on sale today in the US which was pretty unceremonial.
This 10” netbook comes with a decent, but not extraordinary resolution of 1024 x 600. The specifications also should not surprise you much – the ever-popular N270 with 1.6GHz bus speed, 1GB of RAM and 160GB of storage space, that too an HDD, and not SSD that is coming with the latest machines like the Wind series. However it will feature a full-sized keyboard and a 1.3MP webcam. Connectivity will be taken care of by the Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth and three USB ports.
Right now it is available in two shades - Black and White. You can get it on Amazon for $317 or on Buy.com for $313.
