Asus wants to bring a new Eee PC netbook on the market with a price tag around $ 200.
Asus will introduce a new Eee PC model in the first quarter of the next year that should only cost about $ 200 (~€ 158). This will be the originally planned price region of the first Eee PC.
The technical specification of the new device is unknown so far, but Asus said that they won’t build any 7-inch netbooks anymore. Probably, they will change this statement for their new Eee PC.
We will know at the beginning of next year if this will come true or something changes.
