New Eee PC competitor from Dell
The much-rumored August 22nd release date for Dell’s upcoming Inspiron 910 came and went. Now Dell has confirmed, that it will arrive later this week.
The netbook will be powered by the Intel Atom 1.6 GHz 512K single core processor,. It will have 512 MB/1024MB memory (DDR2 – 800 Mhz), Intel 945GMS UMA (up to 8 MB of video memory), up to 12 GB of storage space on a solid state drive. The 8.9-inch shows content with a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixesl, 4-cell battery, 0.3MP or 1.3 MP web camera, LAN 10/100, WLAN. Its average weight is going to be 1.07 Kg. Supported OS: Windows XP SP2 and Ubuntu 8.04.
If the rumored starting price of 299 USD holds true then the Inspiron 910 netbook has a chance on the market.
