Asus has recently launched the G60 gaming notebook that looks like a robot from outer space, the design is sure to catch the users eye. The G60 is definitely an improvement over the earlier G50 gaming notebook. This new notebook has a much bigger 16-inch 1,920 x 1,080 resolution display, which is much better than the earlier 15.4-inch 1,680 x 1,050 resolution display. Moreover, the G60 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad processor rather than the Intel Core2 Duo that gives this beast the power it needs to play the latest games.

There is also the latest GeForce GTX 260M graphics card on the G60, while the G50 had 512MB of virtual memory which was provided by the Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT. Other features include:

·         4GB DDR3 RAM

·         Up to 1TB of storage using dual hard drives

·         HDMI port

·         eSATA port

·         Firewire

·         4 USB 2.0 ports

·         Ethernet, Bluetooth, and WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n

·         2MP webcam

·         Altec Lansing speakers

·         Turbo button for overclocking the CPU

·         Backlit Keyboard with keypad

The G60 will be available in September at a price of $2,500.
