Benheck.com showcased what seems to be an Xbox 360-themed laptop that has been in development for quite some time now. The newest version5 is, like the earlier ones, redesigned from the scratch. The newest version boasts of a  Built-in Ethernet port, Built-in Wi-Fi adapter, Digital pushbutton volume control, Flush-mount DVD door and side panels (such as the memory card slots), IR sensor for the remote control, more air holes, Jasper motherboard and 2 USB ports.

The exterior hasn’t changed much since the last prototype. The internal layout is almost identical to the previous model, though now there’s a better bracket to hold the fans, the hard drive connector is aligned via the case, and the DVD door is thick like the side of the case but sits flush inside it. Again the heat sinks are supplemented with copper - the wonder metal that works wonders – reported Benheck.

For the Ethernet port - a regular cable plugs into the Xbox motherboard, and then is wired to this plug, luckily unlike some plugs and jacks that have internal circuitry. The DVD drive is situated towards front and now opens with the flush-mount door. The right side of the laptop (while you are facing it) has memory card ports and vent that are similar to the last model, though now this plate is flush with the side of the unit.

The unit with lid closed looks quite bulky though. The screws to hold the lid together are now on the inside and countersunk, much like your conventional laptop. The unit sports a Gateway 1775W widescreen 17 monitor with a resolution of 1280 x 720. It has DVI in, which is pin compatible with the 360’s HDMI, unlike most computer monitors.

Another first - this is the only white-colored Xbox 360 laptop he has supposedly built since the original.
