Another Eee PC !
Asus’ never-ending Eee PC models continue, and it’s amazing how they keep finding new ways to place the products. This time the new Eee PC 1000HT has been dubbed as a budget netbook!
The ASUS Eee PC 1000HT has the same body as the Eee PC 1000HE / 1000x series, but is obviously a trim-down version. It is powered by an Atom N270 processor and sports the usual 10.1” display panel with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. You also get a 0.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a lower capacity 6-cell battery (which the company claims will last up to 6.4 hours) and Windows XP pre-loaded.
The 1000HT comes with 1GB RAM and 160GB HDD + 10GB web storage.
The 1000HT is priced at 37,800 yen (which translates to $418) and goes on sale on Oct 17.
