New 17” notebooks by Toshiba

The manufacturer Toshiba extends its product lines Satellite P200 and Satellite P200D by adding new models.

The Toshiba Satellite P200 has got a 17” display with a resolution of 1.440 x 900 pixels. It is equipped with an ATI Radeon HD2600, or an ATI Radeon HD2400, or an Intel GMA X3100. The installed processors are Intel Core 2 Duo’s, and an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 with 2.0 GHz is built in the top-of-the-line model. The notebooks are equipped with 2 or 3 GB of working memory, and a maximum of 4 GB is possible. The hard disk size can be up to 400 GB and a couple of P200 notebooks already offer a WLAN adapter with Intels Wireless 802.11n support. Windows Vista Home Premium is included as operating system. The Satellite P200 is already available, and its price starts at € 910,-.

Satellite P200D:

Basically, the Toshiba Satellite is identical in construction to the Satellite P200, except for the processor. There is AMD Turion X2, or Athlon X2 CPUs installed in the P200D, and the top-of-the-line model is equipped with a Turion 64 X2 TL-64 processor with 2.2 GHz. Furthermore, the installed graphic card is either an ATI Radeon HD2600, or an ATI Radeon HD2400. Otherwise, the technical specifications of those two notebook types are equal. The P200D is already available, and its price starts at € 910,-.
