Dell has recently launched the Design Studio for Dell Inspiron 15 series of notebooks. What this means is that users can now add colors, patterns, and a horde of strikingly beautiful art-forms on their Inspiron 15 notebook. These designs and graphics come from a wide variety of artists. The users will be able to select the graphic that they want to have on their notebook while customizing it. These art-works will come at a price to the user, which can vary from one design to another, but, most art-works will cost the users around $60. The base model of the Inspiron 15 comes for $499, add to it $60 (average price of art-work), we get $560. This is the price that most users will have to pay to customize their notebook with their own form of self-expression.

There are in all 113 designs to choose from, that gives the users an awesome lot of choice. The users can choose from the following:

·         Colors: Users have a choice to drop the plain old colors like gray, black, and white. They can now choose between 8 refreshing premium color shades that fit their lifestyle. The colors include Alpine White, Promise Pink, Ice Blue, Cherry Red, Jade Green, Passion Purple, Jet Black, and Pacific Blue.

·         Patterns: Patterns represent freedom and tend to define our style and personality. The designs offered by Dell take a cue from the latest in fashion and textiles, plus traditional and vintage-inspired prints. There are a total of 11 patterns to choose from.

·         Art forms: Laptops have become an integral part of us today and this is what makes Dell believe that they should be a source of self-expression. This is why Dell lets the users choose from around 51 art-forms that will go on the back of their Inspiron 15 notebook. These art forms have been contributed by artists like Deanne Cheuk, Filth, Jason Holley, Korakrit, Peter Stevens, and many more.

·         Classics: This section includes the tried and tested designs i.e. the most popular best-sellers from previous limited edition collections. The classics offer the user a total of 30 designs to choose from.

·         Product Red: Dell has partnered with (PRODUCT) RED. If a user chooses an art form from this section then a part of the proceeds will go to a global fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. There are a total of 13 designs under this category.

Dell is also launching a new FastTrack next-day delivery service for pre-configured machines. For this, Dell is keeping a constant track of the most popular models being ordered. Dell will ensure that these models are available in plenty so that the promise can be met easily. This service will be beneficial for those users who just need the standard laptop without any customization.
