The Intel Atom CPU’s are badly available
Category: rumorsBy: Redaktion
The Intel Atom processors are still badly available and it seems this situation won’t change soon.
The new Intel Atom processors are not available easily and this situation lasts since they have been released. Intel said that they have enough resources for production, but there is still a production bottleneck.
They have not enough capacities for testing and they can not release untested processors. Intel did not think that the demand of the CPUs would be as high as it is and they can not change this situation soon.
Intel did not tell how long they need to change the situation, but there are rumours which say, that they will build a factory in Vietnam that solves the problem in Q1 2009.
