It looks like a rather ordinary piece of machine, but with Ion
POINT OF VIEW, a Dutch manufacturer, known for its range of NVIDIA-based Graphics cards, has unveiled the first of its NVIDIA Ion-powered mini notebooks - the Mobii ION 230. The Mobii Ion 230 combines the Atom 230 CPU with the NVIDIA graphics card to create a small, low-power notebook with amazing capabilities – like playing full-spec 1080p HD video, supports Windows Vista and the upcoming Windows 7, and running popular PC games. It also includes HDMI port.
The system is powered by a 10.2” 1024x600 LED LCD screen, an easily upgradable 1GB of DDR2 memory and a 160GB hard disk. Connectivity will be taken care of by the WLAN and Bluetooth provided. It is lightweight in its design and easy to use with Linux OS. POV also throws in a built-in a 1.3MP webcam and microphone as well. The standard 6-cell battery of 4400mAh can power up the Mobii mini up to 4 hours – which is quite poor considering a 6-cell battery.
The less than 1.4kg machine comes in two shades - black, red and lime.
