Apple reduced the MacBook Air price (SSD version) in the USA from $ 3.098 to $ 2.598.

Apple reduced the price of its MacBook Air, without making waves. This refers only to MacBooks which are equipped with solid state drives.
They executed the price cutting, because the base price of the used 64 GB solid state drives dropped. Apple passed this saving of costs to its customers. The MacBook Air with 64 GB SSD costs $ 2.598 in the USA instead of $ 3.098.
Apple only reduced the price in the United States of America, but not in Europe so far. The MacBook Air costs in Germany approximately € 1.200 more than in the USA.
