MSI presented Wind notebook

MSI officially introduced its Eee PC competitor Wind. It will be equipped with a 10” display and a 2.5” hard disk.
The Wind by MSI is designed like the Asus Eee PC and shall be as successful as its example. The Wind is equipped with a 10” display with LED backlight and provides a 2.5” hard disk.
MSI did not present other hardware specifications officially, but there are some rumours about them. This rumours say, that the notebook will be equipped with an Intel Atom CPU and its hard disk shall provide 80 GB disk space. There will be two different versions, one with 8.9” display and one with 10” display. Both displays show content with a resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels.
Furthermore, the Wind offers a bigger keyboard as the Eee PC and this enables longer typing. Windows XP will be included as operating system, and the weight of the Wind shall be only one kilo. The price of the notebook shall be somewhere between € 299 and € 699, but no word about availability so far.
