The Asus Eee PC is upgraded with new Processor
ASUS has revived; more like upgraded the old ASUS Eee PC S101H in Europe – as reported by Fudzilla. It was released back in February but never in US or Europe.
Now when Asus decided to launch this baby in Europe, they decide to give it more muscle power. So they have replaced the old N270 processor with the newer Atom N280 processor which has a slightly faster clocking of 1.66GHz. The 160GB HDD option is retained – note that the S101 has SSD of 16GB, whether the S101H comes with the standard 160GB hard disk.
The Asus Eee PC S101H is a netbook, which offers a 10-inch display. The screen provides a LED backlight and it shows content with a resolution of 1.024 x 600 pixels. A 1GB RAM is provided.
The S series of Eee PC netbooks have always been popular and best in terms of quality, but due to the price factor not many would want one. But this upgrade would cost you only 50 euros more, as the earlier S101H did cost somewhere around 350 euros ($495).
