A must buy for business travelers who need a compact and portable solution for laptops, on the desktop.
Almost all of the business travelers carry a laptop with them, so Keynamics decided to make a laptop stand designed specifically to fit in briefcases and fit perfectly on any flat surface especially airplane tray tables. The Aviator weighs nine ounces, has a universal size (even fits 17” wide screens) and is easy to assemble. It raises the laptop screen and tilts the keyboard down so that a person can lean back into the chair and type in a more ergonomically correct position which, as the company claims, complies with OSHA’s recommendations of reclining and frequent change in postures. Moreover, it also allows for a good airflow so as to dissipate the heat generated from the laptop, thereby keeping it cool and eliminating the need for a cooling pad or a cooling mat.
The aviator is reportedly environment friendly as it is made from 99% recycled material. The stand is comprised of 3 parts which can be taken apart for ease of transport and then can be re-assembled easily. It is the only stand that cantilevers the laptop out over the edge of the desk which is achieved because of the counterweight at the back. The rubber strips on the top and bottom of the stand ensure that the stand is placed securely on the surface and the laptop is secured on the stand.
The Aviator laptop stand looks quite sturdy and is available in a variety of colors to suit one’s taste. It is available for as low as $19.99.
