Acer eMachine E520 budget notebook
Acer will launch its eMachines-branded entry level notebook PC in Japan. Known as the Acer E520, the laptop should be released tomorrow on October 31st, 2008. The laptop comes equipped with a 15.4-inch wide LCD screen (1,280 x 800 pixels), a 2 Ghz Intel Celeron 575 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160 GB hard disk drive, DVD Super-Multi drive, and the Intel GL40 Express chipset.
Measuring 364.6×273.6×27~38.4mm at 2.8kg, it should offer around 3 hours of battery life.
The machine is powered by Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium OS and it is priced at 59,800 Yen Japan.
