The manufacturer Dell expands its product line by adding the new Studio series. This series includes the models Studio 15 and Studio 17.
The new notebooks Studio 15 and Studio 17 can be configured in built to order mode, like every other Dell notebook. It is possible to customize the laptop to the customers needs.
The Studio series is equipped with design elements, which make the laptop fancy and handy at the same time. Dell got inspired by its notebook series XPS M1330 and M1530 and even from the Latitude series. It is possible to order the notebook in seven different colours, and they are: Plum Purple, Tangerine Orange, Flamingo Pink, Midnight Blue, Ruby Red, Spring Green and Jet Black.
The laptops hardware can be configured by the customer. The included processors are Intel Core 2 Duo CPU’s (ranging currently from T5750 to T9500, but no Centrino 2) and it is possible to equip the notebook with 4 GB RAM. The Studio 15 offers a 15.4-inch display and the Studio 17 provides a 17-inch screen. They can be equipped with normal or LED backlight.
The included graphics is either an Intel GMA X3100 (15" and 17") or an ATI Radeon HD 3450 (15")or HD 3650 (17"). A BluRay drive and a keyboard with backlight are optionally available. WLAN (802.11n optional), LAN, optional Bluetooth, and an optional mobile broadband internet connection provide communication.
An optional biometrical finger print reader can be included to increase security. The Studio 15 and Studio 17 are already available and its price starts at € 549 (excluding shipping).
