Another gem from Gigabyte in the lines of the Touchnote
A few months ago the Touchnote T1028X came with the touchscreen and a rotating monitor from Gigabyte. It offered you the ExpressCard/34 slot, 2.5” 160GB SATA drive, 1GB RAM, Multi-Card Reader, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n and Wi-Fi provided along with the WiMax. This lightweight beauty came with the Genuine Windows XP Home OS. All these and more for $700 – well not the cheapest of course.
Now they are back with the second such system – the EC18T. It has the same Touchscreen as well as the keyboard, and the rotating display panel, but is more powerful than the previous. It sports an 11.6” screen, an Intel Core2 Duo processor, GS45 graphics chipset, and up to 4GB of RAM. It will also come with Win 7. Pricing and availability is not known, but expect it to be more affordable than the T1028X.
