Lenovo is planning to launch a Thinkpad netbook
Lenovo is reportedly spending a lot of time these days mulling over a new netbook under the hood of Thinkpad. “It’s an area we’re exploring” told Matthew Kohut, Lenovo’s globe-trotting Worldwide Competitive Analyst to APCmag.com, “but I can’t comment one way or the other. Watch this space, that’s all I can say.”
What are the ways a Thinkpad netbook can shape up? Well, for a start, it can have the generic features of having an Atom N270 or N280, 1GB RAM, 160GB hard disk space, 10-inch etc. Or it can have the CULV processor Intel is selling, which will give the machine a distinct differentiation over the other netbooks in the market – as speculated by APCmag. Whatever the configuration, it definitely will be an upgrade over 12-inch Ideapad S20 launched recently.
