Asus expands its product line U by adding the new design-sub notebook U6S.

Asus wraps its new sub notebook into a noble black case. Therefore, the new 12.1" sub notebook will be the special highlight of this product line. An Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 CPU with 2.4 GHz is installed, and gets supported by 3 GB of working memory. The 12.1" display has got a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixel, and is equipped with a LED backlight. Furthermore, a Nvidia GeForce 9300 with 256 MB of video memory and a 250 GB SATA hard disk are installed as well. The U6N is equipped with Intels new wireless technology 802.11n, and Bluetooth 2.0 (with EDR) to enable wireless communication. There are a LAN port, a Modem, several USB 2.0 ports, a VGA port, a HDMI port, SPDIF and a microphone-in built in too. The U6S provides some wise security features, like a finger print reader an a TPM chip. Moreover, is has got a 0.3 mega pixel webcam and weights only 1.57 kg. The U6S will be available in Mid-February and will cost € 1.814,-.
