Gateway LT3100 netbook available in two colors

Gateway, a wholly owned subsidiary of Acer Inc. has recently launched the LT3100 netbook with a 11.6-inch high definition display and a performance boosting AMD Athlon processor. The Gateway LT3100 has a sleek and compact design which makes it quite portable. The device has an Ultrabright high-definition widescreen 11.6-inch display which provides increased screen size that helps to view Internet sites as well as multiple applications and windows. Users can avoid extensive vertical and horizontal scrolling and can easily move between windows for a better overall experience. Moreover, the display is LED-backlit with an aspect ratio of 16:9 ratio and resolution of 1366 x 768 (WXGA) pixels which makes the images clear and crisp. It also has a full sized keyboard which enables ease of typing.

The LT3100 will be powered by an AMD Athlon 64 L110 Single-Core processor and 2GB of DDR2 memory. Graphics will be provided by the ATI Radeon X1270 GPU. It has a 250GB internal hard drive which is enough to store loads and loads of music, movies, videos, etc. Other features include:

On the exterior the new Gateway LT3100 notebook has a fashionable look and feel with a glossy chassis supporting a Gateway engraved logo. The users can choose between two color options NightSky Black or Cherry Red. The LT3100 has a starting weight of 3.14 pounds and measures 11.26W x 7.99D x 1.03H inches.

The Gateway LT3100 netbook line comes with additional preinstalled software including Microsoft Works with Office Home and Student 2007 Trial, Gateway Recovery Management, Adobe Reader, and Norton Internet Security 2009 Trial. The device is backed by a one year warranty and will be available at a price starting from $399.99.
