Acer unleashes the 1410 and 1810TZ
The Aspire 1410 is more like a rebranded Timeline 1810T.
Now it looks like Acer may be rebranding that model so that it’s not part of the Timeline series or the Acer Aspire One netbook series anymore. Acer’s German site simply lists a model called the Acer Aspire 1410, which certainly looks a lot like the 1810T. A few US retailers are taking pre-orders it as well. In fact it’s already been spotted in China.
It’s powered by an Intel Celeron Processor 1 MB L2 Cache accompanying a Mobile Intel GS45 Express chipset, with 4GB Dual-Channel DDR2 SDRAM Support, sports an 11.1” panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768 Pixels. Acer also throws in a 5-in-1 Card Reader, Secure Digital™ (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick® (MS), Memory Stick PRO™ (MS PRO), xD-Picture Card™ (xD).
The Acer Aspire Timeline 1810 is also an 11.6” ultra-thin notebook. It looks more powerful than the 1410 with a 1.3GHz dual-core SU4100 chip. Compare this to the 1.4 GHz single-core SU3500 processor found in the 1810T.
There’s no word on the release, but an US release is expected soon.
