This 12” Eee PC 1201N has an NVIDIA ION
This is strange because Asus has not announced any notebook that runs on the famous ION platform. This mysterious 12” Asus Eee PC 1201N is listed in the shop.pcpop.com site for about 3504 yuan – that’s come to about US $513. It sports the N270 with 1.6GHz of clocking, 512KB L2 cache and 533MHz of FSB speed. Also available are 2GB DDR2 RAM and 250GB harddisk (SATA 5400rpm). That’s not all. Apart from the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G Integrated card, it supports HD display. Connectivity is taken care of by the WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and the 10/100M Ethernet card, USB2.0, 1 × VGA, 1 × RJ45, 1 set of audio input / output interface.
