Lenovo has officially taken the wraps off its Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 at CES 2025, a gaming laptop targeting gamers and creators alike. From its "Eclipse Black" finish to the RGB keyboard, this device looks to be a solid blend of both aesthetics and raw power.
The Legion Pro 7i can be configured with up to Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and up to the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, which boasts 24GB of GDDR7 memory and a 175W TGP. This setup is a clear signal that the Legion Pro 7i is designed for serious gaming and high-performance workloads.
The laptop has a 16-inch WQXGA OLED display, delivering a resolution of 2560 x 1600 with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. It is certified by X-Rite, Dolby Vision, and VESA TrueBlack. The TÜV-certified low blue light feature should be great for comfort during long sessions.
A glance at the chassis reveals a robust cooling system, with multiple rear exhaust vents and air intakes on the base. All-in-all, the build seems to strike a fine balance between practicality and style, weighing just under 6 pounds (2.72 kg). Connectivity is equally comprehensive, featuring Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and multiple USB ports, including two USB-A and USB-C options. Gamers will appreciate the 2.5GbE RJ45 port for low-latency connections, while Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7 are included to support modern wireless standards.
The Legion Pro 7i's keyboard includes anti-ghosting, 1.6mm key travel, and WASD switchable caps. The 4-speaker system with Nahimic audio rounds out the device. With up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of Gen 5 SSD storage, the Legion Pro 7i should leave no room for bottlenecks. The laptop's 99.99Wh battery and 400W adapter should carry most gamers through long sessions with ease.
As far as availability goes, the Legion Pro 7i will be purchasable starting March 2025, with an expected starting price of $2,399.
