New Casio Edifice stainless steel watches launching soon in Europe

The Casio Edifice EFV-610ECL-1A and EFV-610EL-5A watches will soon launch in various European countries. These products were unveiled earlier in May alongside two EFV-610DE watches.

Casio has now listed the EFV-610ECL-1A and EFV-610EL-5A watches on its websites in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. The EFV-610ECL-1A will cost €119, while the EFV-610EL-5A is slightly cheaper at €109. On the product pages, they are marked as “coming soon” with no exact launch date; however, there is an invitation to sign up for an email notification of the release.

The Casio EFV-610ECL-1A has a black watch face, rose gold ion-plated stainless steel casing and a black leather strap. The Casio EFV-610EL-5A has a rose gold watch face, stainless steel casing and the same black leather strap. These watches have a slim bezel and are described as ‘mid-sized’, with the casing measuring 48.6 x 43.8 x 11 mm (~1.9 x 1.7 x 0.4 inches).

Feature-wise, these EFV-610E watches are identical. They have a 1/10th second stopwatch with various measuring modes and are water resistant to 10 bar. There are three analog hands with the time said to remain accurate to 20 seconds, and they also display the day of the month. Plus, they are said to run for around two years on an SR920SW battery.

It is unclear whether or when the Casio Edifice EFV-610ECL-1A and EFV-610EL-5A watches could be launched in other markets like the US or the UK.
