Lenovo Legion C140 2024 GaN charger launches with 140W PD 3.1 fast charging support
Just yesterday, Lenovo debuted a couple of laptops in China. As a perfect accessory for the new offerings and its wide gaming laptop lineup, it has also launched the Lenovo Legion C140 2024 GaN charger. This charging adapter can offer up to 140W of fast charging.
In addition, the Legion C140 2024 supports PD 3.1, Qualcomm QC 3.0, and PPS 3.0. This broad support for different charging standards makes this gallium nitride adapter versatile and compatible with many other devices. But when paired with a Lenovo Legion gaming laptop, it utilizes "special performance settings" that claim to exceed the performance of regular 100W chargers.
Of course, most gaming laptops these days come with power adapters rated at over 140 watts. Lenovo says the C140 2024 GaN charger can offer about 78.2% gaming performance compared to a 300W charger for a laptop equipped with Core i5-13500HX and Nvidia RTX 4060.
Besides, considering the fact that the Legion C140 2024 utilizes gallium nitride, Lenovo could keep the form factor small. To be precise, it measures 66.2 x 65 x 30.6 mm. The GaN charger is pretty lightweight too. It weighs 270 grams, making it easy to carry.
As for the pricing, the Lenovo Legion C140 2024 140W GaN charger is currently in the pre-order phase in China. Its current price tag is CNY209, which converts to around $30. The gaming fast-charging brick is also available in Aliexpress for international buyers at $39.81. If you're looking for an easily accessible alternative to this, you can consider the Anker USB C 717 Charger (curr. $79.99 on Amazon).
